Here is where the hands-on learning and playing starts! In the Toddler Room, your child will begin to work on their self-help skills – cleaning up, taking out and putting away their own belongings, feeding themselves using utensils, and drinking from a sippy cup.
Your toddler will experience a variety of fine and gross motor activities, as well as learning how to participate in group activities. They will build their language and begin speaking in full sentences while learning about colors, shapes, animals, the alphabet, art, and music.
They will also begin to reach more social/emotional milestones and learn how to work out their feelings. As your child gets older and shows interest in the potty, we will start to encourage potty training.
"Hello everyone! My name is Miss Zarah, and I have been at Learning Ladder since January 2022. I have an associate's degree in liberal arts and will be working towards receiving my lead teacher certification this fall. I am a wife and a mother. I have been a Type 1 diabetic since I was diagnosed at 2 years old.
I love to crochet, watch TV, take naps, and spend time with my son & husband. I'm so happy to be part of the Learning Ladder family!"
